Bar Steward

Responsibilities include efficiently serving drinks and food and taking correct payment, any required kitchen duties, keeping the bar and public areas clean and tidy, restocking bottle fridges and some cellar duties (following training). Also maintaining a friendly presence on the bar, welcoming customers, etc. Hours may vary from week to week; staff should make themselves available for any regular shifts but also for any days where we expect to need most staff working (eg Match-Day Saturdays).

We hope to employ staff that attract and sustain good customers, we cannot afford to keep those that lose them.


Required: Experience of bar work, flexibility with regard to hours, clean and tidy personal appearance, pleasant personality, arithmetic skills. References relevant for a cash handling role.


Desirable: Knowledge of and enthusiasm for our products.
